Changes at the ADA
We are very pleased to announce that Brent Jackson from Engineers Australia has accepted the role of ADA Chair.
Brent takes over from Oliver Kratzer who has led the ADA for the past 18 months. Oliver has been a driving force in the alliance since it began, instrumental in leading the ADA’s advocacy with government and last year on the delegation to Beijing Design Week. We are sorry to see Oliver go from a formal role with the ADA but know that he remains a strong supporter.
Our CEO Lisa Cahill has resigned, after four and a half years in the role, to take up a new challenge as Associate Director at Object: Australian Design Centre. Lisa built the ADA from scratch into a strong national alliance and has delivered many successes along the way. We wish Lisa well and know that she will continue to support the ADA in her new role.
We are delighted to announce Jo Kellock (pictured) as the new CEO of the Australian Design Alliance. Jo was a founding member of the ADA in her former role as CEO of the Council of Textile and Fashion Industries of Australia. Jo has a strong background in driving policy change with government – a key priority for the ADA towards the 2016 Federal Election.
