Dual professional couple is seeking an experienced and nurturing nanny to care for the newborn. First time parents with limited local family support are seeking a reliable full-time nanny to supplement afternoon daycare. Duties include supporting growth and development, actively engaging the child in age-appropriate play and activities, supporting the child’s daily routine, tending to all tasks related to the child and walking the child to the neighborhood daycare each day. Once the child is dropped off at daycare midday, the nanny will have an hour to complete any unfinished household related tasks. Candidates who are reliable, flexible, and proactive would be a great match for this role. Candidates must be available to provide full-day care should the child be sick or daycare be closed and to occasionally provide afternoon back-up coverage should both parents have a work conflict (stay as late as 8p once every few weeks). Candidates who are bilingual in English and Spanish are encouraged to apply. This job is available starting March 9.
