Universal Design Conference
20–21 AUGUST 2014 • SYDNEY TOWN HALL
Universal design is a world-wide movement that aims to create environments that are useable, accessible, safe and convenient for the entire community. Designing universally increases the inclusion of people with disability, older people, children and their parents. This concept is increasingly evident in Australian policy and planning documents across all levels of government. The conference will focus on the built environment, which includes, housing, public buildings, transport, and open spaces.
