Building Designers Australia – biggest restructure in 53 year history

Theresa Hatton, President of Building Designers Australia (BDA), today announced the biggest restructure in its fifty-three year history. BDA has always been the peak industry body representing building designers across Australia, with its previous structure tied to state boundaries.

Entrepreneurs Infrastructure Programme

The Government has announced the establishment of a new $484.2 million Entrepreneurs’ Infrastructure Programme and a new streamlined Single Business Service initiative to support businesses to improve their competitiveness and commercialise new ideas.  A discussion paper has been released and submissions called for by 19 June 2014.

Call for Creative Director for the 2015 Festival of Landscape Architecture

The Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) is now seeking expressions of interest for the role of Creative Director for the 2015 Festival of Landscape Architecture. Individuals, practices, schools of Landscape Architecture, or collaborative teams are encouraged to apply. The appointed Creative Director will be responsible for the conceptualisation of the theme and content for the Festival. The second Festival of Landscape Architecture will be hosted in Melbourne in mid-October 2015.
